BMW barn find to daily driver update: electrical issues have been mostly mended. The power windows all work now, as well as the Speedometer, Radio, and interior lights. Only electrical issues that remain are the Non-functioning gas guage and the non-retracting power antenna, as well as the cruise control.
Had the main serpentine belt fail on me, so I replaced all three, however the power steering belt failed again on me after I realized I put the Power steering and A/C belts on in reverse after following the previous owner’s routing of the belts, which probably led to the failures in the first place.
Waiting for a replacement power steering belt to make it completely roadworthy. Not going to replace the A/C belt as there’s no charge in it anyway.
So yea, once the power steering is fixed this will be my daily driver, especially since I’m still trying to sell the crossfire.

Have you tried lubing up the antenna?

What gmporschenut said, try lubing the antenna. The gas gauge not working I would assume is the sending unit, the gauges themselves aren't known to fail. What was the fix for the power windows?

Yea I need to buy a new sending unit, but they’re like $300, so it’ll wait a bit. Power window fix was just to go through each central switch with a fine sandpaper.

I have not but it couldn’t hurt I guess. I don’t hear the motor trying to move though.

Yeah fair enough, that's a lot. Oh that's awesome! About as simple a fix as it gets

Lol nothing new to report. I’ve been driving it daily now for about a week and a half, no reported issues other than the fuel Guage, A/C and Cruise Control. Everything else was as simple as cleaning switches and replacing fuses. Car drives amazingly well!
The old girl can get up and move, too. It seems that all 195 hp are still there.
